Spain's Residence By Investment Program, also known as the Spain Golden Visa, is an initiative that offers non-European Union residents the opportunity to obtain a residency permit in Spain in exchange for a significant economic investment in the country. This visa program grants a renewable residence permit and provides the investor with the right to live and work in Spain, as well as free movement within the Schengen area. Real Estate

    A minimum investment of EUR 500,000 needs to be made in a residential or commercial property located in Spain. The property must be purchased from a Spanish developer or individual.

Government Bonds

    A minimum investment of EUR 2,000,000 to be made in Spanish Government Bonds with a maturity of at least 5 years. The bonds must be bought from a Spanish bank or financial institution, and they need to be held for minimum 5 years.

    A minimum investment of EUR 1,000,000 needs to be made in shares or investment funds that are listed on a Spanish Stock Exchange. These shares / funds must be purchased from a Spanish broker or financial institution.

    A minimum amount of EUR 1,000,000 must be deposited in a Spanish bank and the deposit amount should be held for minimum 5 years.
